Axell Corporation is a Japanese company that specialises in Sound and Graphics (Amusement Graphics) LSI.
The AG-1 is a sprite system controller meant for the amusement industry, such as pachi-slot machines,
it has reached end-of-life in about 2005.
These are the specifications of the Axell AG-1 AX51102A, it should be very similar to the AX51101.
